Belle, nuova incarnazione di Symbian, il sistema operativo per smartphone della Nokia.
Nuova e non ultima, nel senso che dopo di lei questa piattaforma continuerà ad esistere fino al 2016, malgrado l'arrivo di Windows Phone 8 1.
Belle è il salto in avanti più grosso compiuto da Symbian e il segno dei tempi che corrono.
Atteso sul mercato fra fine settembre o inizio ottobre...
Symbian Belle potrà esser montato con un aggiornamento anche su altri smartphone della casa finlandese (N8, E6, E7, X7, C7, C6-01 e Oro), ma non sono stati ancora comunicati i tempi.
Sui tre modelli iniziali che monteranno Belle, il Nokia 600, il 700 e il 701, sarà possibile personalizzare lo schermo, scegliere fra un parco applicazioni ampio, aggiornare le stesse automaticamente.

Google ha finalmente deciso e, dopo tanti ripensamenti, lancia in Italia e in altri 27 paesi del mondo il servizio Google Voice, il nuovo modo per effettuare chiamate Voip da internet a prezzi competitivi.
A due anni e mezzo dall’uscita negli Stati Uniti, l’azienda di Mountain View ha deciso di lanciare la sua nuova piattaforma e di battere la concorrenza spietata di Skype.
Funziona proprio come un normale telefono cellulare, solo che starà sul computer: attraverso l’accesso alla posta elettronica di Google, meglio conosciuta come Gmail, l’utente potrà acquistare il credito in tagli che vanno dai 12 ai 60 euro.
Una volta fatto questo passo, sarà possibile chiamare gratuitamente dal proprio PC altre postazioni e a prezzi molto competitivi telefoni fissi e cellulari.

Secondo un'indagine sui comportamenti degli utenti internet italiani condotta da Cpp, multinazionale specializzata nella sicurezza dei dati personali, il 16% degli utenti ha subito almeno una volta la violazione dell'accesso ai vari servizi web.
According to a survey on the behavior of Internet users conducted by Italian Code of Criminal Procedure, a multinational company specializing in the security of personal data, 16% of users have experienced at least once a violation to the various web services.
All'interno di questa percentuale, nel 35% dei casi si registra un danno.
Within this percentage, 35% of cases there is damage.
Il 30% degli intervistati ha lamentato l'uso fraudolento dell'account di posta elettronica, messenger (o altre web chat) o del proprio social network.
30% of respondents complained about the fraudulent use of an email account, messenger (or other web chat rooms) or social network.
Il 2% ha subito danni economici limitati a 100 euro, mentre per 3 intervistati su 100 i danni sono stati contenuti entro i mille euro.
The 2% had suffered economic damages limited to $ 100, while 3 out of 100 surveyed the damage was contained within a thousand euros.
Tra i mille e i 5 mila euro sono stati i danni economici per il 2% del campione, mentre solo l'1% ha subito danni superiori ai 5 mila euro.
