BITCOIN sì, ma c'è altro: cresce il numero di monete virtuali che sbarcano sul mercato dell’economia digitale, sfruttando la popolarità e il codice sorgente del loro fratello maggiore, dalla filosofia rigorosamente open source.

Dal Bitcoin originario discendono altri strumenti di credito elettronico criptato, così tante da coniare persino un nuovo termine: criptomania.

Una febbre in grado di scavalcare il temuto rischio bolla, le folli fluttuazioni cui ci ha abituato la finanza online e anche le restrizioni ultimamente introdotte da molte banche indiane, francesi, cinesi e tedesche nella conversione delle bit-valute in soldi reali come euro, yen, dollari e sterline.

"Molto speculativo" e "rischioso" è il modo in cui la Bank of France ha bollato il denaro virtuale in una recente relazione.

L’obiettivo: scoraggiare i potenziali acquirenti.
